Create and Assign Home Pages
26.8.2026
Tässä ohjeessa kerrotaan, miten luot, kohdennat ja muokkaat aloitussivuja Priimassa.
Overview
Home pages are enabled by default for all users. They allow you to display different content to different user groups.
Go to Home Page Management
- Open Administration.
- Go to Settings > Home pages.
Create a New Home Page
- Click Create new home page.
- Select one of the six available page layouts.
- Enter a name for the home page.
- Add the required content by clicking Add Content.
- Click Save.
Choose Appropriate Content Blocks
You can add the following content blocks to a home page:
- Text
- File or list of files
- Image
- Video and audio
- External content
- Embedded content
- Targeted content
- Image carousel
- My courses
Example: Create a My Courses Content Block
This content block allows you to choose whether users see:
- their own courses
- courses available to join or enrol in
- upcoming courses
You can select courses manually or define them using conditions. You can add multiple My Courses blocks to the same home page.
Example: Create a Targeted Content Block
This content block allows you to display content based on a user’s role. If no content within the block applies to a particular user, the block will not be displayed to that user.
For example, you can display:
- For learners: expiring and expired course completions, as well as the progress of their own courses.
- For managers: team members’ latest course completions, as well as expiring and expired completions.
Assign a Home Page
- Click Assign.
- Define the assignment rules:
- Assigned to all users of the environment
- Assigned to selected roles: Administrators, Managers, or Students (you can select one or more roles).
- Assigned to selected groups
- Click Save.
Define the Order of Home Pages
- If multiple home pages are assigned to the same users, they will be displayed in the same order as they appear in Administration.
- For example, if a general home page is assigned to all users and another home page is assigned only to managers, managers will see both home pages.
- You can change the order of home pages using the arrow buttons or by dragging and dropping them.
Notes
- Home pages are enabled by default for all users.
- Make sure that at least one home page is assigned to each user group.
- A user can see multiple home pages.
- If you add files or images to a home page, remove them later through the home page editor, not through the Materials view.
